Emotional Intelligence: What and Why

Despite the many tips and techniques in articles on the merits of emotional intelligence, few people have understood the true implications of this critical competency. This intensive workshop tackles the topic of emotional intelligence from a different perspective: What should one change in their lifestyle to become more productive, successful, and accomplished? Through interactive participation, attendees will learn the impact of their daily habits on their leadership effectiveness and their potential for success. They will learn how small, consistent habits, i.e., lifestyle, can positively impact their work-life balance.

The workshop uses mini-presentations by the subject matter expert to explain the theory behind Emotional Intelligence. These presentations are supported by exercises and questionnaires designed to help participants translate theory into practice after the course.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Explain emotional intelligence and why it "outshines" all leadership methodologies and applications, as well as all degrees and qualifications!
• Interpret the impact of high and persistent stress on personal and professional productivity
• Identify five pillars of emotional intelligence and identify areas for improvement as needed
• Enhance their emotional intelligence level by applying stereotypical tips and techniques

The workshop is intended for professionals at all levels keen on enhancing their productivity at work and personal lives. It is particularly beneficial to business managers and leaders who lead busy careers that continue to tax other aspects of their lives.

• Emotional intelligence
• Lifestyle management
• Rational decision-making
• Self and time management
