Relational Database Management Systems and Structured Query Language (SQL)

This course provides a training course on relational database management systems and Structured Query Language (SQL) to anyone who wishes to develop their practical abilities to learn and apply all relational databases.

Database management systems are a set of computer programs that control data organization, storage, management and recall from the database. Database management system manages many databases and many users can access these data and bases at the same time. Whereas regarding databases: When creating a database where data is stored in tables. Tables can be created by creating a new database, by inserting a table into the database, or by importing or linking to the table from another data source such as an EXEL file, a WORD text document, a text file or another database. Then a database is established which enables the entrance of data to start the identification of the table. Databases must be protected from persons unauthorized to access them.

Information Security (IS) is the system used to secure the data transmitted via networks. In the technological development age and the prevailing different means of information storage and exchange; i.e. information transmission on networks and from website to another, it has become important to consider and observe information and data security. Information security is the science applied to provide great and adequate protection of information against any risks which may threaten or damage it through the tools and means required to protect information against internal or external risks. All standards and procedures taken to prevent having access to information by persons who are not allowed to access them through communications are used to ensure the authenticity and correctness of these communications. All techniques used in the world cannot be executed without Information Security (IS).
