Bringing a new pipeline system into safe, reliable service depends on far more than completed construction, it depends on structured Pipeline Operations Readiness built around the specific risks of pressurized hydrocarbon transport. This training course gives participants a complete, practical grounding in pipeline readiness and commissioning, connecting preparation activities directly to real safety, integrity, and startup outcomes.
Participants will strengthen their understanding of the distinctive operating requirements of pipelines, and will build practical competency in planning and executing pigging operations to clean and verify pipeline condition. The course places strong emphasis on conducting reliable pressure testing to confirm system integrity before service, and develops sound skills in managing a safe startup while maintaining long-term pipeline integrity.
Course Objectives
