This course offers a comprehensive Agile Fundamentals: Including Scrum and Kanban Course. The course is designed to provide attendees with firm groundwork regarding Agile methodologies and practices.

The course on Agile is an elaborative study of the fundamental principles of the Agile practice that includes two principal methodologies, namely Scrum and Kanban. It begins with an orientation to the Agile mind-set in which values and basic principles that are stated in the Agile Manifesto are explicated. Then it brings to the notice how Agile differs from traditional project management where it helps in understanding the wider acceptance of agile across industries.

The other important component of the training is Scrum framework-laying out its specific roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Development Team); ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) and artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Increment). This is exhibited in the course as a description of how such elements work together in order to yield product delivery in an iterative and collaborative manner.

The course also gives an introduction to Kanban methodology with visualising workflow management, work-in-progress limits, and an emphasis on continuous delivery. Attendees will learn how to utilize Kanban boards to optimize the work flow and enhance team transparency.

Some other topics include agile planning and estimation, with user stories, story points, and velocity tracking as its contents. Attendees will learn different agile metrics and how to deploy those in tracking progress and performance.
