The security of ports and vessels has become a strategic priority within the global maritime industry, particularly following heightened international concern over terrorism, smuggling, and unauthorized access to critical maritime infrastructure. The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code was established to provide a standardized framework for assessing risk and implementing security measures across ships and port facilities worldwide. This specialized training course provides an in-depth examination of the ISPS Code's requirements, covering security levels, risk assessment methodologies, and the practical steps involved in developing and maintaining effective ship and port facility security plans. This course is through the ISPS Code Implementation for Maritime Security and Port Facility Protection Training Course, a program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical tools needed to protect vessels, port facilities, and personnel from security threats while maintaining full regulatory compliance. Throughout the program, trainees explore the responsibilities of designated security officers, the process of conducting security assessments, and the procedures for responding to changing threat levels within maritime operations.
